Cassia’s jewellery passion and aim is to produce fine jewellery which is both luxurious with an expression of life, love and joy.

THE STORY

Cassia was introduced to the wonder and colour of the world from a young age. A trip to India in the early 90’s revealed the magical power of jewellery. Cassia was taken to the home of a jeweller after being rowed through the tranquil waterways in Kashmir. ‘Before my eyes, he created a ring from the most basic of tools. I was hooked.’ Then regular visits to Kathmandu saw Cassia designing her own collections having established invaluable connections with the extensive network of gem-dealers and craftsmen in the city. She became fluent in the language of gemmology and the properties and use of precious stones. Cassia is a trained goldsmith, gemologist, diamond grader and designer. While living in Sri Lanka, Cassia further developed her love and knowledge of gemstones sourcing unique sapphires and spinels for her private clients.

THE VISION

Cassia’s work draws on the wonders of the world, but now is designed and crafted close to home. She designs each jewellery master or one off unique piece in her Wiltshire studio, before passing her designs to a small carefully nurtured team of master craftsmen around the UK, who complete her pieces. Each piece is totally British made using recycled gold and for every piece purchased, a tree is planted. Cassia continues to develop her understanding of traditional skills through working with inspiring and talented artisans and is committed to keeping some disappearing arts alive.
