The Engraving Process
The hand engraving process for enamel is a meticulous and time-consuming art, and there are only a few individuals who specialise in both engraving and enamelling at this high standard. By having one of these pendants you are keeping the ancient craft alive.
The Enamelling Process
Enamel colours start in the raw glass form, which are then crushed into sand like particles before they are applied to each of the letters, then the work is put in the kiln to make the fushion happen, and the process is repeated to get the correct colour for each design.
Finally the pendants are then passed onto a master diamond setter in Hatton Garden, where each letter is then embellished with diamonds.
